i think i'm going to keep beau. ;;
someone offered to take him, and even already opened a plot but i'm sitting here tearing up and trying not to cry while cycling to get him to move haha.
i think i might offer to give them 20 nmts for their trouble, do yall think that would be enough? i feel so bad i just don't think i can part with him.​

Ohhh well honestly would tell them no then leave the chat (if it's a dm). If they keep asking then block. You don't owe them anything. They can get Beau another way.

I was gonna vote to keep Beau but it looks like you already decided to do just that! Sherb is cute and has the extra appeal of being a new villager but Beau is still cuter in my eyes - all the deer are designed so well!

you're allowed to change your mind, and you don't exactly owe them an explanation beyond "i've decided i want to keep him". if someone is guilt tripping you over wanting to keep a villager then that's not okay lol. if it were me i wouldn't budge. if they keep pestering (which they shouldn't), like sherb20 said: block.

i think i might!! idk who i'd give up for a jock villager. ;; i have 2 crankies, 2 smugs, and now......2 lazies haha. i just love them all so much, nintendo please let us increase the villager limit ​

I was just in a similar situation. I had another lazy I wanted to bring in, and having 3 lazies seemed like too much. Beau had already given me his framed photo, and he pinged first, so I decided to let him ago (he was also still in a starter house). That said, if all things were equal, I probably would have kept Beau over Sherb, even though Sherb would be harder to reacquire since he has no amiibo. Just my personal preference, though!

I’ve already gotten rid of Sherb twice, but I like him more than Beau. I have Beau’s amiibo and never use it and you can’t amiibo Sherb in.

I would never let the villager that I really like go, even though they have crappy houses or anything.

This. I have Erik and he's my favorite, but he got the ugly starter home like a wooden cabin with just dirt as a floor :')

To TS: Sherb is harder to get, but that's no reason to keep him if you like beau more. Just pick the one you like the most.

Keep the one you love the most. I don't see any value in keeping a villager just because he's rare and all, so if's that's the only reason, let Sherb go and be happy
