Do home remodels transfer to new towns?

If I remodel my villagers home and they move to another island, do they keep the remodel I did, or do they just revert back to their standard default?

ive asked that very same question. you can turn the villagers home back to their default in the residential center *i think, i havent tried it though, i like my villagers lol*

I tested with both of my islands and I found out that they don't keep the remodel, they just go back to their original home interior. I guess they did that for people who don't have access to Happy Home Paradise.
