Do the fortunes and the fashion checks add up even if you TT back and forward?

yeah, the fashion checks do! i was time travelling when gracie was in my town, around the date she appears, and i'd pass one day's check, time travel some more, land on her day again, and get another shot until she agreed to open up shop in my town.

sadly, katrina's doesn't. when i would time travel and see her again, she'd give me the same fortune i got previously. katrina also won't work if you go to another town on the same day you got your fortune told in your town or someone else's. hope that helps~

So if I was to TT forward and get Katrina till it hit 20 fortunes and time traveled back it wouldnt work. or if I TT back before I hit the 20 it will reset the count?

sorry, i'm not sure what you mean, but if katrina appears on october 21st, then you time travel forward and go back to the 21st and see her again, she won't give you another fortune. you have to travel to a new day you didn't get one told to get your twenty visits.

but, with gracie, you can time travel to october 20th and 21st and keep trying until you get her to open up her shop.

Going back to katrina within the same week does not work; unlike other NPCs she knows you've already seen her. because she's psychic, obviously.

Continually going forward and then jumping back to today ought to work fine though. Don't forget to have all your non-mayor characters get fortunes -- I just got katrina's shop in my main town and I don't tt there at all, just made sure to get everyone's fortune whenever she showed up.

she'll talk to you once you leave. for me, it happened when i went back in to check what she said, since i forgot. then, as i left, she brought up bringing up building her place with isabelle.

You have to keep continuing forward for Katrina. I have Katrina's shop, once you get your 20th read, as you are leaving her tent she will mention how the town needs her and she will talk to Isabelle about setting up a shop on Main Street, she will then be available as a Public Works Project. I think they meant they would travel forward as far as they had to, then once she'd appeared enough, come back to the present time. It would certainly work although it might take a long time.

And yes, when I left after having my fortune told she stopped me and asked me about opening the shop. I think she only talks to the mayor though, so use your mayor last each time.

ok, i was confused by your wording then. because she definitely doesn't tell you your fortune again on a day you already got it.

and, yes, she only tells th mayor as he/she leaves.
