do dandelions disappear randomly?

i want to make a field of dandelions, but i think once one of my dandelions just disappeared a day or two after becoming puffs. does that actually happen to dandelions? i don't want to make a field if i have to constantly restock dandelions!

iirc, yeah they vanish over time

but you can use the puffs to make new ones too by blowing them I think (though probably not all at once)

Unfortunately, it appears so. I started collecting some dandelion puffs and noticed them vanishing too.

If you keep them in your inventory they should say though! Take them all to storage to keep them until you need them for you dream address, etc.!

I was actually thinking that it wouldn't work but if you do exactly what The Hidden Owl said, which is to keep them in your storage until you're ready to upload your dream that would work. Unfortunately you'd have to replace them with something else afterwards :/
