Sorry this has probably been answered but I can't find any one topic that confirms or denies it.

Do unpicked clovers hurt Perfect Town Status? I had it at "Goodness Gracious!" yesterday and now it's down to "So-So" which is a huge disappointment. I have 15 PWP I believe, over 100 flowers (I may have too many flowers if that's a thing) and my trees are at 134 I think.
There is no trash anywhere other than buried X's from Pitfalls/Gyroids/Fossils and Clovers.

If someone with experience wanted to come in and do a once over for me, I can offer Blue Roses for your time?

How can you check how close from your perfect town status you are?

If you go to Isabelle and ask her for "Citizen Satisfaction" she will give you a sort of Vague description of how close your town is to perfect.

I don't think clovers effect your perfect town status. (Even ones you haven't picked). I let them grow freely in my town and still achieved that status before. Only actual weeds will detract from your town rating

Ah thank you! I was worried 'cos I've been letting them grow since the game started and I really like how they've overgrown my town. I didn't want to pull them all...

So I guess I have a culprit somewhere in my town that I need to find.

Didn't Isabelle tell you what's wrong? She is supposed to tell you how the town can be improved (ex: needs more greenery, too much trash, not developed enough)

I'm pretty sure clovers don't affect perfect status! I have quite a few in my town and last time I checked I had a perfect town!

Clovers don't affect your town rating. I have clovers in my town, and I've checked several days and I'm still at perfect town status!

I can just agree with the others, another reason would be that clovers don't count as weed in the mini games or at the weeding day ;)

They count as flowers.
They do not count as weeds, so no. They won't pose as a problem when maintaining town status.

Remove weeds. About 3-4 weeds spawn daily. Leaving weeds to grow will negatively affect the town status. Dandelions and clovers do not bring negative effects to the town's status.
