Does anyone agree that not having a very specific and formal dreamie list and getting to know your handful of villagers that you were given is much more much fun and immersive? I have a group of villagers that aren't all immensely popular and I love every one of them! Does anyone else feel the same way?

It is more fun if they seem nice,
but not if you have a phobia of them ; A ;

Thats how I came across gala, she was at first my least favourite but once you start getting to know a villager its hard to let go

It can be fun if you have a small list and switch it up too.

I mean, I'll always have Phoebe and Coco but everyone else can go once I get 3 pictures from them.. (One for the house, one for the museum, and one just for my inventory..)

Yeah, that's what I do. I accept pretty much any villager that comes (Haven't had any creepy ones yet though), and look forward to new ones. :) This is why I don't look up all the characters; I prefer being surprised.

I think I could befriend any villager given enough time. I've NEVER hated anyone that lived in my town and no matter who leaves, I'm always kinda sad that they left :/

get out of here i love barold

let's not hate on villagers other people might like ok?

I agree with you, I find him really cute...always talking about naps.

I like all my villagers except one...because he's been a jerk to half the town!

i mean, i have a dreamie list, but it hasn't really been stable up until recently :'> like, it used to have coco and merengue and marshal etc etc

but then willow and curlos moved in, and my villager tastes changed entirely @__@; so i think it's just really up to how you play the game personally and how well people get along with the villagers they have, etc etc

I didn't care much for Kid-Cat at first... I planned on getting rid of him but then he began to grow on me :3

Edit: And I guess in a way it's better for people who like more of the unpopular villagers seeing as they can get them cheaper or even free

This. I have a list of villagers, but I'll probably let them go once they give me their picture.

I have a dreamy list, but for one of my villagers (O'Hare!) I only like him because he grew on me while in my town. It's interesting to take the villagers thrown at you, but maybe not as enjoyable when you happen to get a villager you REALLY don't like.

I don't have a list anymore, mostly because there's so much cuteness I can't pick just 10.
So I leave it to see who moves in and out or who turns up in my campsite.

I don't want to let anyone move out until I have a picture of them, even though I hate Canberra.
I also find it more immersive, having people I love and hate. I think I would find having a permanent 10 that never changed would get boring after a while.
The only thing is though that I must have at least 2 villagers that I like a lot, so in this case it's Lolly and Biskit but neither are really a favourite, I don't like Lolly as much as I thought I would.

//switching to good grammar ;w;

I really switch up my dreamies alot, because no matter how ugly they are, I always get attached to my villagers. So its really hard for me to let them go. Etc. I thought Biff was a really..meh..Hippo but now hes gone and I kinda miss him. ;p
