Do Amiibo's ruin the game?

I don’t think they ruin the game, they’re good for some people but not for others. I guess it depends on how you like to play.

The only thing they need to fix, is the pinging to move.

Make them able to ping to move, like regular villagers, reguardless of the regular to amiibo villager ratio in your town.

And this is too true... they take forreevveerrrrrr to move out. I added roscoe to my town in september and he didn’t ping me to move once until last week! I guess it’s good to help people keep villagers, but if they added this they should’ve probably added a “boot someone out” option alongside it.

Before I made it an all amiibo town, I had 6 amiibo's and 4 regular.

It took SIX MONTHS for amiibo Mathilda to ping to move.

I thought I was dreaming.

I then realized that getting rid of the other 5 could literally takes years, so that's when I stopped fighting it, and learned to plot reset (I didn't know how back then) and got rid of every villager, and moved in 10 amiibo's that I wanted - where I wanted. ^_^

Nintendo could add an option so when you scan the amiibo, have "Can ping to move?".

Simple. ^_^

In my opinion they don't, I'm planning to buy a few amiibo cards soon of my fav villagers that I want to keep forever LOL

& about amiibo villagers taking forever to ping you to move out....I think its a good thing.
Imagine paying 30 tbt for a villager from people who own amiibo cards & they end up moving out like any regular/normal villager, like hell no, whats the point??
tho I do agree on the "booting out" villagers option, that would be a better idea lol

It's not a good thing.

You lose options, like being able to invite campsite villagers to move in.

They just need to make it so there is an option.

Can ping to move, or not?

I was worried that they would add Amiibo into New Leaf, and incredibly annoyed when they did.

Luckily, it's not as intrusive as I thought it would be and I think they handled it well.

Wait, just remembered the fact that certain villagers can only be accessed from Amiibo. It's exactly what I thought it would be.
