Do amiibo kick-outs reset the move-out mechanic?

I was hoping to try kicking out someone via amiibo tomorrow as I'd really like to get my favorites in the game before my birthday. There are a few potential villager that I can invite for the 3rd time tomorrow.
However; a few days ago I had Sherb wanting to move out - I denied it.
So now in a few days, I expect to have another villager wanting to move out.
Will inviting someone via amiibo reset that now and will I have to wait another 2 weeks for a new move-out?
As much as I'd love to get some favorites in, I also really want to go Island hopping.

No, amiibos are independent of the villager move out timer. I've had someone ask to move out the day after I kicked someone out with an amiibo.

The only thing you cannot do is have two villagers in boxes at the same time. One will get delayed to the next day.
