DIY Recipes and Certain Islanders

Okay this may be a dumb question and something just everyone knows but me, but... do certain villagers or personalities tend to have more of a likelihood to give certain kinds of DIY recipes (like when they're in their house crafting)

Just wondering because like, when Julian was at my campsite via amiibo he gave me a golden candlestick diy, and now that he's been moved in he's given me just in the past few days a gold armor suit diy and gold armor shoes diy.

Is it just a wacky coincidence or has anyone else noticed small patterns?

I was wondering as well. Ultimately I'm leaning towards random.
When I brought Ankha in she requested Golden plates which I thought was pretty theme appropriate..but I think the next two days it was just random log recipes. Same kinda goes for the others, Kabuki requested a bamboo item one day and some random items the next two.
Recipes I've gotten by visiting their home seem to be hit or miss as well.
