[DISCUSSION] Does New Leaf have enough variety?

more variery is always better but I fell enough satisfied
I wish just that the exteriors would be all available in catalog once unlocked like the furniture rather than a random appearence
and I wish a way to bypass the grid when placing furniture

Oh man if we could bust those rocks (or move 'em at least), that'd be fantastic. They're such a pain.

I wish we could just plan the layout of the town. Like, when you first start the game, you can plan where you want the rocks, where to place and how many ponds you want, where to place the important buildings, and the plaza... That would be really nice.

Personally I'd like more furniture, I've visited many dream towns and honestly I see the same sorts of themes over and over again because there is a lack (imo) of furniture variety. There are only so many regular kitchens, bathrooms, libraries, movie theaters, cabins, etc before it's boring. Some people get super creative on occasion but it still feels limiting. It seems like a lot of items when you look at a list of them, but it's still not variety. 500 dishes of food is still...500 dishes of food. There aren't even that many different beds, for example. Or even bookshelves, what's up with ONE kind of bookshelf, and it's hugeeeeee. Or what about mirrors, picture frames (there is one that I know of), couches and chairs...even all the 'regular' items there isn't much choice.

At the very least it'd be cool to have more options in customizing the colors and patterns of some items. Like the blue series, I get that it's the 'blue' series but why can't we have a rainbow of color options? Or the options to make it multi-colors? I think even little additions like that would be amazing.

the lack of variety in the dialogue is really annoying. like they should have made it diverse for every character, it would have made the villagers feel less general and plain.

more shops, it got kinda boring without a large amount of shops, and its not like theres no space for it either

Animal Crossing should have more mini games! Hide and Seek, Gracie Challenge, Desert Escape, etc.
