It's that time of year and you know what that means.....​

Yes, that is right, It's time to signup for Secret Santa!! Secret Santa is a popular event around the Christmas time where people secretly gets a username and makes them something and they don't know who their secret santa is.

So, how would this event work? Well, here is better explain by one of our staff members (Maxibear).

It is time... For SECRET SANTA! To register, type !ss into #bot-commands , and you'll get a DM from Isabelle about who you'll be giving to this holiday season. (keep it secret!) To submit your submissions, type !submit into #bot-commands . Your submissions may be IRL items shipped by mail (but be sure to provide backups, just in case the other person isn't okay with getting something shipped to them), In Game Items, literature or artwork. All submissions must follow the rules of the chat. If you have a question about a submission, feel free to DM me or @Antonio ! Have fun y'all! I can't wait to see everyone's entries! Submissions will close on December 18, 2016.


We decided to do signups a little early this year since why not? You'll have more time to start working on your gift.

Is it free?
Joining our server is 100% free

How many people can i be a secret santa for?
One. The code that runs the bot stores your user.id so you can't get another one.

What if i everyone is taken?
Don't worry, you'll be rewarded with 50k of igb so you won't feel left out

Can i change my secret santa?
No, what's done is done

When do gifts go out?
We'll start giving out stuff around the 23rd of December

Where would i use the commands?
In our discord server, in our #bot-commands channel.

Sure! The server is basically for animal crossing but we are holding a special secret santa event so even if you don't want to participate, you can still join and chill.

Also, just in case for those people who don't want so stay, you don't need to stay. The only time you will need to be on is to get who you're gonna secret santa for, to submit your entries, and when we pass out the gifts. The only thing is if you want to receive a gift, you will need to be on the server so the bot can choose you (It's at random so you'll never know if you are choose until we past out gifts). I think everyone just needs to come together and create ONE single Secret Santa Thread. Kind of like the Joint Freebies thread. Because there's been a secret Santa every season for the last couple seasons. Like I.e.:
Nightmares can run Summer Secret Santa
I can run Fall Secret Santa
Shattered can run (Winter) Secret Santa
& someone else can run a Spring Secret Santa

And we can just create a major thread, where like the first person creates the comment for their Secret Santa with all the info and stuff for that secret Santa and then the next person comments with all the stuff for their seasons secret Santa. And we could don't colour themed like winter = blue, fall = orange, spring = pink?, summer = green. Or something like that. Idk. And each secret Santa could maybe be themed to? Like fall=autmumn/halloween-ify your recipients OC, winter=snowify your recipients OC, spring=flowerify your recipients OC. Idk. And the title of the thread could be like Seasonal Secret Santa: FALL with each season.

Would you be interested in this? I'll ask Nightmares/refer them to this thread. I can do fall. And we need someone for spring. If you and nightmares aren't interested maybe others will be.

I really like this idea. It sounds a lot more organized and seems like it'd make a more straightforward process. I'll volunteer to do Spring if you're still looking for someone.

Just use the command !want to tell us what you want. (If you're gonna add on to your wishlist, then copy what you already added and add on to that).

Trust me, the process takes about less then 2 minutes and we got moderators there to help you if you need anything.

I've signed up for Discord, I just don't like it. I've had to use it for games and it was just a hassle. The text seems so small, chats would rarely update, plus back then there were only notifications for mentions. I prefer Skype over Discord.

To be honest, I completely understand where you are coming from but discord has improved in the last year with less bugs and more features plus it's very simple. I suggest retrying it, if you want.
