Disappearing Villagers

Has anyone noticed villagers moving out without any given notification This has happened to me a few times. Yesterday, I had received Eugene's pic and today he is now gone and moved out. He didn't give any information that he was going to move nor did I receive a letter in the mail. Has this happened to anyone else? Eugene isn't the only villager as I've had about two or three more move out as a result of this. No time traveling was done, I believe.

if you play often you should always be able to stop them. if you don't tt and play often there's almost a 0% chance of losing a villager.
