Disappearing Snowmam?

Since today is one of the last days to make snowmen, I figured I'd make a Snowmam so I could get some ice furniture to sell. I made her very close to my jungle gym (climbing frame), but she was perfect, so I was able to get an ice clock from her by catching 3 snowflakes. I later saved and quit to go do some things.

When I turned on the game later, my Snowmam was gone. Even weirder, there are still snowflakes flying around my town, even though there's no snow.

Has anyone ever experienced this, or did I stumble across a very odd glitch?

Yeah, they disappear if you build it too close to something. :c

Yeah they disappear if they are too close to something like DarkFox7 said. Sorry.

This happened to me too last year. The snowman was to close to a bush and I didn`t pay attention to it, so it was gone. I try to build the snow family member in an area with lots of space.
