Dirt Paths

Is there any way to make the grass in my town fade faster because I really want to make a dirt path in one part of town but it isn't working for me (I have the Beautiful town Ordinance does that affect it?)

ordinance doesn't affect it! try running over it for a few minutes, saving and quitting, and then doing it again. do that 3-4 times a day and it should go faster

also, if your town is in winter, that'll affect it. grass grows back super fast in winter so its nearly impossible to start paths then

My friend has the nicest dirt paths, so I'm super glad that someone answered this. She wouldn't tell me how to get them XD

I only managed it in one place for some reason, I just tt'd day by day and ran a line from my house into the plaza. For some reason, The only place that really faded was right outside my house
Tt'ing would probably be the fastest way though

There is a guide made by someone with dirt paths in her town, she seems to be fairly experienced with it. Find it here.

You can use pwps to help get rid of the grass (place one down and then cancel it).
Also if you want to get rid of big areas of grass you can put down another character house and then demolish it.
