Digital copy of ACNL

Does anyone know if the digital copy is transferable? My youngest grandchild lost his cartridge of the game so I was thinking if it was I would transfer my digital one to him instead of buying a cartridge (so it does not get lost).

All digital games are linked to your system and NNID. The only way to transfer the game would be to do a system transfer, thus wiping your grandson's data. Your best bet is to put money onto his system via eShop card and downloading the game from the eShop.

The only way to do that would be to do a complete system transfer of your data from your system to his. There's no way to just copy the digital copy to his.

It's not, unless you're ok with loosing the digital copy of the game yourself
