Different fishing tourney prizes

There is another fishing tourney coming up. I keep getting the same stuff. Are the red-snapper chair and jellyfish lamp limited to the ones where you just go for one type of fish?

No, the items for the fishing and bug tourney are completely random.

There are 2 fishing tourney actually and they switch. I don't remember if it was every each month or every each time. One has red snapper chair & jellyfish lamp in the prize. And the other doesn't. It has nothing to do with fish type restrictions. Hope it makes sense.

I thought that was the case, thank you. I assume the one with the stuff I want is the one that asks for one species of fish. I haven't been doing those as much.
