*dies* I need some advice on something too

Punchy, my absolute FAVORITE villager decided to move out yesterday.
He never said anything and I talk to him EVERYDAY, EVERY TIME I see him!
(He lived right next door.)
I payed over 10 million bells for him.
I'm hoping that having my second town visit will have him move into it then I can start cycling for him back into woodbury.

This sucks so much, I loved my lazy little boy

EDIT: How is the best way to get him into my next town? Should I street pass my 2 3ds's?​

Thank you It's extremely upsetting! I don't cycle in my main so it's going to take a while to get 16 villagers in and out. But if I can jsut get him in my cycle town I would feel so much better.
