Diddy Kong Racing DS 6 PLAYER!

I must admit, IGN saying "5 player" was pretty weird... Most games are even numbered players, the only one that sticks out as not being even was Rampage 64, which was 3-Player. >.>

Where the heck did I hear "8" player then?
On the back of the boxart. There were conflicting reports... It is six player, that's 100% for sure.

In my opiniopn, 4 was fine in MKDS... yes, 6 might be more fun in DKR, but it also might mean more chance someone will be causing lag in each race (more racers = better possibility for lag... and also, if more people race each time, there's a better chance someone has a slow connection).

Rareware is known for pushing any system's limits (look at Conker; it is easily the prettiest N64 game), so I have no doubts that they worked things out. I'm confident that it will be relatively lag-free..

Donkey Kong Country was a PHENOMENAL technical achievement, so quite honestly, we all have little reason to doubt the masterminds at Rare.

The old masterminds... recently, as sad as it is, their games have been pretty pathetic.

Have you played Viva Pinata? That game is as fun as heck. I wish I had a 360... I could only get a chance to play it briefly at a friend's house, but nothing more.

My friend has it, and he's told me all about it... and I laugh at him.

Why though? It's a pretty awesome game.

You're forgetting their best game ever. Banjo Kazooie.

Banjo Kazooie has honestly been the only rival to Mario for me, I thought it was a dumb game when I first saw it, then my friend got it and I got to play it... I remember kicking my little brother off the TV for 6 hours so I could play it.

:P

that and Jet Force Gemini... Probably the most overlooked of rares games, people complained about it all the time, but I thought it was way awesome... Sure, the dog with jetpack feet was pretty weird... and trippy, but it was an awesome game, great story, tons of blood, and the best graphics on the N64, really, it beat Conker, by a ton.
