Did you keep your lingshot after you received the gold badge for balloons?

Is there any reason to carry a slingshot once you have the gold balloon badge from Phineas? I can't think of any reason but I don't know all of the upcoming events well enough. I don't plan on ever shooting down an annoying balloon gift again.

Yeah as soon as i get my badge the slingshot is going to retire in my museum tool display.

It's a hard badge to get. I play nearly every day but don't even have silver yet. If I do manage to get the gold badge then I guess I wouldn't keep it any more no, there isn't any point.

There's a Sky Egg, which you get by shooting down the balloon it's attached to.

I kept mine. I still shoot balloons down if I find them especially offensive Bonus points if I can get them to fall in the river.

Do you play with your sound up and during the day time hours? I know if I have my sound up and can hear the balloons, it is much easier. I've gotten 4 in one playing session. Albeit, I play way too much too.
