You can customize mom’s presents! I’ve seen online all the different variations to mom’s presents and was always sad I got stuck with the ugly denim looking ones. I had a mom’s present in my inventory and was going to customize something else when I noticed I could customize it! I’ve been playing 200+ hours and I just found this out. Now I can customize all this ugly denim presents!

I'm pretty sure you can customize the furniture, but not the apparel/accessories (apron, sweater, and knapsack). But yeah I love that I can switch out my random cakes and candles for ones I actually like haha

Yes but no... it's only the candle set, cushion, cake, pen stand, plushie, tea cozy and tissue box that you can customize.

Unfortunately, you can't customize the paintings, embroidery or kitchen mats, so not all furniture items :/

knew I was forgetting stuff, thanks for the update! The only items I was interested in were the cake, tea cozy, and candles so I'm glad that those are customizable cause my game is bent on giving me pink items and I just don't want them

Yeahh we can’t already customize mables clothes so I figured it would only be select furniture items that would be customizable. Which is still pretty cool!

I remember when I first found out we couldn't customize the mables clothes = ') Seems like a missed opportunity especially since the mables shop doesn't let us buy more than one of the same clothing type per trip to the changing room

Accidentally discovered this back in April when I keep getting all those tissue boxes because of TTing. I glad they gave us this option since mom items are supposed to be rare.

Yesh... I was kinda sad when I got Pippa the pink plushie and once I found out I could customize the plushie, it turned into Roary the navy blue lion plushie <3

i’m glad they gave us this option! it’s nice to be able to customize the majority of the items if you get a variant you don’t want ;;
