it is actually pretty realistic how the grass is tougher in spring and very wimpy in winter because, it just snowed here this morning (in real life, and yes today, and i live in the south) and when i walked on the snow, it just revealed the ground beneath it without much effort at all. in spring the grass is much stronger because it's alive.

Yes, grass grows more quickly in the non-winter seasons. Though, I don' worry about grass. I have all mine.
