I haven't done the photos in a few days.
I don't know why but I kind of feel lazy to go to Harv's Island and mash some random items in the room and then take a crappy photo I'll later end up deleting from my photo log.
The first few days I obviously took the whole thing really seriously and it was great but now I don't see the point really.
The only items I'm missing are the walls/flooring and some of the carpets but I don't think I'd ever even use them anyway so they'd just be clogging my inventory.
I LOVE the wedding season furniture so I am trying to complete the set as well as make a wedding space on my island. But I think if I didn't enjoy the furniture, I most likely wouldn't complete it either.
i’m in the same boat - i haven’t done it in a few days mainly because i keep forgetting up until the last second and by that point i’m too tired lmao. i have around 70 heart crystals atm which should be enough to get me at least 1 of each item i want but if not or if i decide i want multiples, there’s still time for me to start doing it again so i’m not worried lmao
I’ve really been enjoying the event, partly because I love decorating rooms and also as I’m a big fan of the furniture set! It’s been fun to use the items and themes to think of new ideas for the photo set, during the later day Reese’s brief gives you a lot more freedom to experiment so I’ve really enjoyed using my imagination
I did it until I was given the choice to purchase everything available, so about 7 days, I think. I can't believe it's a whole 30 days for the event. I think 2 weeks would have been fine, but I suppose I understand since they want to make sure that everyone is able to do it.
Yeah I'm just doing it to basically put everything on my catalog even if I'm not gonna use it - idk, the completionist part of me kicks in? Guess I can sell off the stuff I don't care about to people in later months. Only have yet to get the tux, shoes and veil after today I think - after that I'll probably stop. I really have to think to come up with new ideas for the shoots since I want to get the max hearts so I only use the wedding furniture.
I got pretty much everything I want so I'm just about done - if I do go to Harvey's island to get heart currency I just spam furniture at this point!
My wedding area is outside so I haven't needed to buy the wallpaper / flooring, and unfortunately rugs can't be put outside yet either. I am holding out hope that feature will be added later. I do intend to buy the feminine clothing so I can gift it.
I could literally just copy your post.. The first 3-4 days I invested a lot of time and thoughts into the whole thing and now before I go to bed I just remember that I forgot to visit Harvey and don't bother standing up again to do it.. The whole unnecessary dialogue with first Orville, then Harvey and then both Reese and Cyrus is really unmotivating to me.. If it were on my island for example I'm pretty sure I would do it every day like I did the easter event.
I think I'm in the minority that I've done every single day so far and I've also made all of them unique. I typically spend anywhere from 30-60 minutes making the set. I really need to upload all of them, but I think I'll hold off on that until I've done every single day.
So far I'm only missing one flooring and then I'll have all of the wedding items! I do plan to use future crystals on some duplicates since I need them for one of my houses.
I mean the items can be customized to give them a different aesthetic so there's that.
I think the items are still neat but I collected about everything that I wanted.
I think I must be one of the only ones who have participated every single day. I don't do it as intended, though. I just throw some random furniture from the event to get the maximum number of hearts and then exchange them. It takes me like 5 minutes to do that.
I did it the first 7 days, but decorating and setting up a whole room for basically nothing isn't my bag so since I got everything I wanted out of the event, I'm done.
I don’t like doing it, the hoarder in me makes me want to just in case I change my mind about liking the furniture. I feel like I’ve done everything I possibly can with it design wise that combined with the drift in my controller makes me not want to do it.
