amiibo Festival dice rolls

so i know that the dice rolls are random based on how you tap the amiibo figure but is there anyway to time them better? sometimes they would roll for a bit and would take a double tap but other times u just had to hover and my character lottie would just dump the dice on the ground, leaving me with some real terrible rolls. I just got amiibo festival recently and as cursed as it is im really loving it besides the fact im not doing great with rolling my dice, mayvbe i'm just unlucky? but ye, if anyone has some dice rolling advice please let me know, i plan to make some other friends of mine who are animal crossing fans play the cursed game haha (i say it's cursed but i actually really love it, me and my boyfriend had a blast yesterday playing it).

I think the timing of dice rolls is completely random and it might even be pre-determined, not sure on that.

If you have any amiibo cards, you can use them to boost your chances of a certain number! The number on their amiibo card corresponds to the one they'll be more likely to roll if you use them. You have to edit your amiibo festival town and get them to move in, then when the prompt for a player to role begins you can scan the amiibo card for a higher chance for your desired number. If you have enough cards I recommend at least one villager of each number if you want to be strategic! This is only for series 1-4 cards.

I don't think this method gives you happy point for rolling (can't remember) , so use the method sparingly and definitely not on twice dice days if you do end up using it! Might be a few other details I've forgotten but hope this helped. I agree this game is kinda cursed, but I still play it with sometimes and enjoy it!
