Note: Diana traded her harp for another item. If this lack of 'originality' matters to you, well, the rest of what I have to say shouldn't.

****

As number five on the 'tier 1' of the villager popularity list, Diana hardly needs introduction. That said, since she is so popular, I want to have fun with this giveaway.

There are several ways to host a giveaway, but here is my requirement for this one:

Share with me your story of how you have helped the New Leaf community, whether here at TBT or elsewhere. Helped someone find his dreamie, or hosted giveaways? Helped people fix their town after getting it ruined by a mentally disturbed guest? Etc., etc. I am not looking for proof, but your story about how you have benefited the community, so focus on details rather than links.

Of course, I am not asking for a scholarly essay, but give as much detail as you think relevant.

I will not necessarily be picking the 'best story,' and even if I tried I am bound to disappoint people anyway. I'm just going to pick among promising entries and who is conveniently online at the time I arbitrarily decide to deny anymore entries. (So I might end this in a few minutes, an hour, or even a day; who knows.)

In other words, it's like musical chairs, except you need to give your story to enter the game, and since I am looking for 'promising entries,' those who seem to me to clearly not care about actually sharing their story might not make it into the pack of entries I will select from.

As in my previous giveaway (the one for Beau), it was hard to select a winner, and that winner was not necessarily my first choice, but that winner certainly was one of a promising group.

By the way: This is not necessary, but if the winner has a spare silver shovel I'd greatly appreciate having one, since Diana is in my second town, which just started a few days ago, and since I only host giveaways it is not quite so easy to get funds and rare items.

Hii,

I'd like to start off by saying, thank you for doing a giveaway for: Diana.

I would love to enter a chance to win her :D

Some things i've done during my recent weeks in this Community include:

I've donated / gave away 2 villager/dreamies. I also tried hosting a "cycle thread" which didn't go all too well ): being that i realized "cycling wasn't as easy as simply TT'ing forward." There were several occassions whereby I'd have a dreamie, and lose a chance to give/auction a villager because I wouldn't be notified that he/she would be leaving ):

So unfortunately, I gave up my cycling for the time being. Also, I participate in forums whereby people require assistance cleaning up their town ie: Removing Trees/Roots.

I still have other popular villagers who i will be adding to future giveaway/auction threads once they are in boxes (:

Overall, thank you for this chance for Diana (:

Hello dear!

I love Diana, as she is a top dreamie of mine.. I reset my game due to losing her in my last game. I was even so far along, but was so distraught by this that I decided to reset.

I have helped the NL community on TBT and a couple other sites. I have hosted multiple free giveaways with villagers such as Lolly, and rare sets such as the full gardening set, etc.. I love helping other and am always willing to do whatever I can to make someone happy. Not only have I hosted giveaways, but also free catalogue events and have helped a couple players clean up their town after some huge scammers blew through their towns. I have also held a cycling thread, in which I have helped countless people obtain some of their very own dreamies and achieve their own animal crossing goals.

I also used to have a cycling town, but I gave that extra game to my little cousin whose dad couldn't afford extra things like that at the time. I also haven't been too active until recently because of graduating school, family issues, etc.

This is a wonderful thing you are doing, especially for her being so popular; thank you.

** I have a gold shovel for you.

CHECK MOST RECENT COMMENT, I WON HER ELSEWHERE X

Thanks for doing this!

I haven't been as active as I had been previously, but during the wintertime I got at least one dreamie for someone every week. I remember buying two people Stitches, 1 person Chief, 1 person Rosie, and another person Marshal (on a different site). In total, I probably spent 50m getting people dreamies. I cycled for a little bit and gave Sprinkle to someone there. I have held items for people who were resetting, held villagers for a few people, and helped a few friends with their town.

Good luck everyone!

hehehe and btw I leveled your license up, a potato c:

Hi ... This is a very awesome giveaway!
Thanks for posting it and I would love to have Diana, of course! I had her in my campsite once, and started a thread about the experience, because, alas! I had no room at the time for the little darling :(
I should be doing more than I am to give back to the New Leaf community ... I have done a few giveaways and have one planned to do on an Egyptian Theme in honour of Achieving Ankha and reaching my 1000 posts mark ... Other than that, I try to always be supportive and kind and appreciative of the community members ... I believe it is important to express praise for talent (OMG there is a lot of talent on here!!) if you do choose me to have Diana, I can promise she has a forever home as far as it is in my power to keep her! ♥♥♥

Ahhh I won her in a giveaway x

Tysm anyways, this was super sweet. Good luck to all c:

This game of musical chairs is over.

I have selected someone. This was especially difficult since we started with only four participants, but were reduced to three (congrats, Cailey!).

Closing this topic and sending a private message.

I should reiterate: all participants' entries were great, and I did not necessarily select one that is any 'better' than the others. Some people use random number generators to avoid having to make such a decision, but I made such a decision because I am too lazy to use a random number generator.
