but it is just the tone they have, I can't really describe it, although you do kinda have a tendency to show the worse side of the bombs. i think the most biased quote though was the one about those who dropped it saying "My God, what have we done". that leans quite a bit towards the why we shouldn't have used it side

Kind of. I'd definitely say that it was the way in which the First World War was concluded and the conditions of the Treaty of Versailles that contributed in part to the rise of the NSDAP in Germany, but I don't think the First World War was much of a cause of the war itself beyond this.

On the topic of the First World War, it's pretty amazing just how easily it could have in fact have been avoided.

If anything though WWII helped America economically. While the New Deal was helping America out of the Great Depression, the economic boom of the supply really pulled us out.

The nuclear attacks on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during the Second World War would cause significant environmental damage, major health implications to the residents of the cities, and would be psychologically detrimental to the people of Japan.

Economical growth in Canada or US doesn't fit in with this statement.

You also have to keep in mind that Japan then created a democracy (as told by the U.S....I think). They did so with keeping the emperor thing. Now they are one of the most technological advanced nations on Earth.

Also, Tojo was in charge basically at the time.
