I'm in the process of making a Jurassic Park (or World) themed town. As the title says, I'm in desperate need of ideas. I'm planning on using fossils, obviously, but I'm not really sure what furniture, PW projects, or anything really, I should use. I don't know of many 'dinosaur' items in the game other than fossils. If anyone has some ideas of what I could use (as long as it makes sense) it would be very helpful!

I'm thinking of making my town very overgrown and tropical, fitting for the island setting of the films, if that helps any!

I'm even thinking of adding in some of the characters from the films!

Thanks in advance!!!

Oooh, interesting idea! I was also thinking of recreating the Lockwood manor from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom!!! I really loved the whole feel of the manor.

For pwps, I think the log bench and suspension bridges would be appropriate. Then, I'd throw in some geysers, hot springs, fire pit and the stone tablet. Maybe the Moai statue or Stonehenge to show some lost civilization?

I bet you could make a really cool study with bookcases, a fireplace, globes and maps, gemstones and fossils.

Definitely agree with the other suggestions. Maybe put the weather during a really stormy and rainy night? Like the death scene with Dennis and the spitter.

I think you've got your work cut out for you with the fossils! I think there's many ways you could decorate with them. You can give leave heaps of fossils for a person exploring your town to dig up while exploring your town. You can use them in your houses as exhibits.

You could make use of the campsite and set it up with the firepit and a chair. The Archway sculpture kinda looks like bones, so you could definitely make use of that. You could use torches for lighting around your town. A water pump for survivors?

Good luck with your town, it's a very cool theme! :)

You've definitely got your work cut out, but I love the theme! I was thinking you could have a sort of archaeology dig-site area, if you run over the grass enough it will turn to mud (a lot of effort I know) and then fill it with fossils, you could also use paths that look like bones, fossils etc.
I like the idea of having the abandoned park and it being all stormy/rainy, for pwp's you could use the torches, archway sculpture, fire pit, water pump, moai statue, stone tablet. you could also use the fence with a custom sign that gives the idea it was once an enclosure which the dinosaur escaped from, with caution signs around.
Also you could use the campsite, torches, fire pit, camping cot etc to give the idea that there is a sort of 'survivors base'

these are probably crappy ideas but good luck!

Thank you everyone for these AMAZING ideas! I’m grateful for the help!

I’m looking forward to starting construction! I can’t wait aaa~

Do you incorporate villagers into your theme? If that's the case, alligators feel like the way to go. However, since there are not enough alligator villagers to fill a town, you would need to expand into probably Eagles and then Frogs and Ostriches too. Eagles feel like a nice transition from dino to bird like an archaeopteryx, since they are more like raptors than other bird villagers. Frog and Ostriches would be transitional species as well.

Another room idea would be the breaker room that Ellie goes to in the first JP movie. The "server" item and actual "breaker" item would both be great in there!

Also, maybe the roasted dino meat item from the WA update? It's not canon, but still cool--like maybe the meat was what was left over after one dino devoured another.

More thoughts...

One of your houses could be based on the first film, maybe--the main room could have the big fossils inside, and plants; maybe a sign ("When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth")...other rooms could be the stainless steel kitchen, maybe the basement could be the breaker room, there's the computer/control room, etc.

Oh! And the wyvern eggs, Otomon egg, or 'large egg' item, that can also be customized so it's either partly hatched or fully hatched!

Maybe an arsenal of splattershot guns?

You could display some miniature dinosaur models from Cyrus.

You could leave a few bones lying around (identified fossils outside).

PWP like the giant boot would fit in, and you can sit on it.
