Design Sign not working?

Hi,

My design sign is not taking any patterns. I go up to it, and it asks for what design, and none of them are highlighted! Any help? I spent 80K bells on them. :/

Cut out face? I am using the one where you just put a design on it? Not the face ones.

Are you using Pro desings or no? Maybe one or the other doesn't work with the signs?

Scanned from QR codes then? I know that you aren't allowed to display designs made by others in the Able's shop... maybe the same applies here? Maybe there's a way around it, but I'm not sure. But that would be silly, because then why would they even allow QR codes to be made for these? Ehhh I'm stumped.

Nope, gates are not open. I did scan them from a QR code, but I don't see why that would be a problem.

Yeah, neither do I... Can you at least check to see if you can display a design that you created on one of the signs? Just to quench my curiousity? I'm really lost for an answer though, and I've never had one of those design signs, so I have no experience with them.

I made a design myself, and it works. Seems like pros and other designs by QR code does not work. Is this true? I want to use a QR code design. O.O

Yeah you cant use designs you've scanned on that one. Only original designs can be used on it.

I dont know why they did that when you can use them on the face cutout one.

yeah i tried using a qr code on my board and it wouldnt work so i had to make my own ^^
