Design my main room!

Hello, there!

I'm almost finished designing my house, but I could use some input. My house is Antique themed, with Princess, Rococo, Regal, Classic and Gorgeous rooms. I had planned to make my main room Horoscope themed, but I don't like all of the pieces after all. I've gotten so frustrated with a partially done room that I put my Christmas decorations up to fill the space, and that is just not working for me.

There are a few pieces I do know that I want in the main room, namely, Large Bookshelf (2), Fireplaces (2), Chaise Lounge, Blossom Lamps (2), Cancer Table, Libra Scale, Lily Record Player, and Creepy Statue. I also have used the Sagittarius Arrow, Pirate Armor and Virgo harp in the room as well. I love the Palace Tile, but I'm not in love with the wall. I also like the Exquisite Opulent and Ornate Rugs, if that gives you an idea of what else I like.

I enjoy symmetry, but I'm not ruled by it. I'm fine with acquiring new items if I don't already have them. Thanks in advance for your suggestions! Here's my dream code, if you'd like to take a look at what I've got so far. 5200-3117-9814

For the wallpaper, I'm not entirely sure, but what about using the library wall, lattice wall, or the stone wall? Something more antique themed that would probably go with the floor would be the tearoom wall!

Furniture wise, you could try adding the vintage telescope and I like the Pirate Armor, it gives off a very antique-y vibe. I always like to have plants in the room and I think any of the bonsais would look beautiful in a room like this! On top of the table, I might put the letter set too!

It's up to you how much you want to put in the room but you don't want it too look over crowded, unless that's the look you're going for.

Ahh the antique-y look This seems like a good idea, are you trying to go for a certain color scheme? I would have to check if Cyrus could refurbished one of these furniture pieces
Personally I don't feel right telling you how to design a room, but I guess you can always seek inspiration I do suggest an instrument like an ebony or ivory piano. It really depends on what you're trying to go for, and space in your room haha. When I get a hold of my laptop, I'll upload a photo I have in one of character's houses, which I hope could give you ideas
