The main board is for posting your directory or store. This thread can be a link to the items you are selling in the sub-boards or just a store where you sell items. It is optional to have one, you can always just use the sub-boards and not the main board. Examples: DarthGohan's Directory, Joe's Fruit Shop
Item Boards
Furniture, Carpets and Wallpaper, Clothing, Accessories, Music, Gyroids, Fossils, Other
Item boards are for selling and buying specific items. There is a catagory for each main type of item and an other board for everyhting else. When selling an item you should post a thread, the title being the item. It is suggested that you state the following when selling an item: name, price, number in stock, description. For an auction, this is suggested: item, starting bid, minimum bid increment (if any), number up for auction (meaning if you have three, the top three bidders will win), description. If you can edit, it might be usefull to edit in the current top bid and the date of the top bid. When you are looking for an item you can post in the request thread for the appropriate catagory. You might want to say how much you're willing to pay as well. Other members will browse the thread in order to see if anyone is looking for something they have. There is a new request thread every month, but you can always view older ones in this thread.

A customer profile is a profile for each member that says what items they are looking for. For example, if I wanted to see what Joe was looking for, I'd check out his profile and see that he wanted the classic series. You can post in someone's profile if you like (maybe saying you've seen the item before or you have it and you're willing to do buissness). Only one profile per member is allowed. If you do not yet have the power to edit you're threads, you can either post the updates, or get someone to help you. Example: Joe's Customer Profile
