I'm going to take a graphic novel and conception class in school, so I'm going to make a manga. It won't take 5 years, it just takes around 1 if your starting.

How would someone else know how long it would take you to make a manga? It will take exactly as long as your dedication makes it take. If you work on it only a short while each day, then, ya, maybe 5 years. If you dedicate yourself to it, then it won't.
