If only one person wants him by the 12th, he will be free. If no one wants him, he will have to find a home in the void

(Also please let me know if "leaving on the 12th" means they will be packed on the 11th.. I can not seem to remember and this is the first time I'm putting a villager up for adoption. Thank you!)
