• Easter season is here! Here's what we have going on at The Bell Tree:
    • The egg decorating contest is back! Join TBT’s Fifth Egg Decorating Contest, now with two distinct categories: decorating and painting. Entries must be submitted by April 9th.
    • Starting this Friday at 7PM EDT, follow clues to search for eggs around the forum in TBT's Thirteenth Annual Easter Egg Hunt. New eggs will appear throughout the weekend and the hunt ends on April 6th!
    • Customize your profile by spending bells on any of our three recurring backdrops.

The new resident rep sleeps in a tent for the first night but gets their house and storage back the next day. You keep any recipes you've learned. The rest of the game goes through the intro and K.K. Slider as normal.

Oh okay thats good, but what about the Island Designer App? Well that stay too on the Nookphone?

This is interesting. Does the transferring resident keep their catalogue as well? I imagine so, if they keep their storage.

I've bought a second Switch and when I did, I moved a second player from my main island there. It worked out nicely

The transfered player does get to keep all their apps, including terraforming. So you'll have it from the start. No need to get 3-Star town first.

Some of the town related achievements get reset.

While picking a good starting map on the second Switch, you can close and restart the game without messing up the transfer. So don't feel like you're stuck with the first 4 map choices.
