In NL I had a town that was almost all rabbits, except for katt. I've been thinking about an all duck island but probably won't happen. I have a lot of birds right now though, feels like. Sprocket, Cranston, Phoebe and Knox.
I don't think I could. I always enjoy one species islands/towns. I remember one in NL where the person had all pigs and put them in the leather jacket (or something like that). It was very cute and fun.
But for me personally, I like my island to be a jungle of villagers, lol.

No, although I did try going for it at one point in NL! I almost got an all penguin town but took a break and when I got back lost motivation. In NH I think the new way of getting villagers really encourages getting a variety of species naturally though, not to say a single species island is a bad thing!

I like meeting new villagers and don't care about duplicate because someone is going to get cycled out eventually.
I had alot of the bird species at one point. Mostly eagles, ostriches, and one bird. My 7 permanent residents are all unique species but I'll cycling with my other three plots.

i dont plan on having a single species island, but it'd be cool to have one. while typing this i thought "id probably try it if frogs or ducks had at least one of every personality type" and. frogs do. im a clown. perhaps i could passively try but we'll see. while i think the frog and duck models r the cutest, a handful of them just dont appeal to my aesthetic sensibilities u see

I’m going for a full deer island (7/10 as of writing!) because I like the species! It’s totally not related to any forest curses I just wish there was a peppy deer but I’m fine going without one once I get the mischievous reaction from Audie.
i did rabbits back in ACNL for a side town. i can't even remember what it was called now, but it was fun. if it was easier to have multiple islands on the switch i would almost definitely do another gimmick town with a theme or a single species, but as of now i'm not planning on it haha. which bites, bc i always wanted to do an all cat town but there were no smug cats before acnh!
I'm trying to avoid more than two of the same species now, and I don't want duplicates of my old NL villagers at all. But if I had a free additional island, I'd make an all rabbit one because there are so many rabbits I love. (I had four in each town and still never got Ruby.)
Or a wintery fishing village with just penguins. I really like frogs too. Can we have more islands on one Switch please?
