Decorating Inspiration needed (around villagers homes)

So I currently have some land around each villagers home and I want to decorate it. But I'm lacking inspiration. Would love to see what everyone has done!

Im in the same position! I decorated Poncho's with gym equipment, but that's so obvious for a jock. Makes me wish I played happy home designer some more to have experience with this lol

I did this for Marina's home and I'm pretty proud even though its simple. Pink flowers to match her colour, the cute pink stereo as she has a cute-themed house, and the shell fountain!!

I gave everyone one of my villagers a little back story and that is represented around their houses, some literal, like flora getting lots of flamingos or others a little more original like Raymond having a calm place to read near a waterfall.
