Decided to erase all by custom path borders...

Would it be faster just to erase the custom design slot and replace the pathing in a different slot? Or change it to something else you want?
I feel like that would be easier than going around redoing all the pathing manually but I'm not sure if it works >///<

Changing out custom paths is THE WORST! I think I've probably done that to my island at least 5 times now and I think my Y button is going to be the first to break, haha!

OH NO! yeah pathing sucks... the worst thing ever is when you’re walking over a custom path and you accidentally kick it off. I SCREEEEAM

Erasing the custom design slot just replaces the borders with white squares.

If I wanted a different border, replacing it like-for-like would work, but I want to free up the slots for something else entirely.

Oh my gosh, I did the same thing not too long ago. And I originally thought placing the borders was the most tedious part

Well now I'm experiencing that in reverse...so many hedges getting picked up by mistake!

This happens to me so much. Now I make sure to not drop stuff on custom paths. There was a point there I wasn't picking up the dropped item but erasing the path and picking up all the placed items in the area.

Yeah I did this a lot in New Leaf. I was deciding between two different path patterns, one was two tiles wide and the other was three tiles. I at first chose the 3 tile one only to hate it once it was covering my entire town. So I had to erase all of it to put down the new 2 tile one!

I changed the paths on NL regurally because I actually loved the slow and tedious process of erasing paths to place down new ones. I approached it more as active meditation time.

Finally got rid of them all and started replacing the paths on my top tiers with a version of 'the path'...totally worth it!
