So, I recently started fresh and have finally paid off the first proper mortgage (Tortimer island unlock) and have got 100% approval.Should I TT so I can go to the Island and be able to set up PWP'S??

No!! It's a nasty habit and you probably won't ever stop time traveling. :(

But it is your game, so feel free to do whatever you want!

Depends on how YOU feel about it. My first two towns i never TT, but my third I did to unlock PWP and whatnot.. Just make sure f you have villagers you want to keep around that you go a day at a time and tal to everyone each day or you could accidentally lose one

I TT because I'm extremely impatient, I don't regret it but each to their own. I keep the time real and just switch the days around, although on my first cartridge I am in 2019 :(

i TT all the time
as long as you talk to your villagers every day still until one of them either gossips to you or says that someone is going to move out, it's not like it's dangerous

but if you don't like to TT, you can always just go back to whatever day it is irl and pretend you never TT'd

Did you just start playing the game or did you reset? If you just started playing, I wouldn't time travel and I think it would be better to watch your town develop day by day. If you reset, then you probably don't want to wait for all the stores to appear and expand for a second time, so I'd TT.

i TT bc im bored and impatient, and also im a night owl so i make to adjust the time in the day so i can have more play time :) i dont regret it, most people do tbh, but its up to you.

I time traveled all the time before, but ever since I got all my villagers exactly where I want them I don't want to risk losing any of them so I don't tt now. Plus I don't have a ton of time to play every day so just checking in for 30 mins each day works out well for me, I don't really have a need to time travel at the moment.

im planning on stopping after i get all my dream villagers in, thats really the only reason i do it! i feel like hacking is kind of the new TT, personally i dont hack, but time travelling is very common now, and hacking is kind of the more dangerous, controversial thing atm.

My main town still doesn't TT except for days where it's the fishing/ bug and I'm late playing.

I've been playing since the release date and my other town will be TTing. It's in August right now and I plan on jumping ahead to get the side players their two in town winter bugs. Than I plan on TTing back and playing May to August over and over.
I like summer the most in the game.

In my newest town I've TTed back for the golden fishing rods for all three players. I haven't TTed to get the island or stores unlocked so far. For the Gracie checks I will TT. After that store is open I plan on leaving it in a season. Maybe Spring.

I TT on my second 3DS. Some drawbacks are; if you TT back your hair messes up, you can end up with a huge amount of weeds and flowers. It's all too easy to lose a villager by mistake. The sense of progression is lost a bit. Did you ever use cheat codes etc in games then regret it, then it may not be for you.
Positives are, easy access to event items. Cycling villagers. Quick access to Redd, Gracie etc. Sloppy and Cardboard items show up a lot when I'm TTing.
