For the love of all saints, STOP helping with the gardening!!


In my town, I don't have flowers of the same type or color right next to each other, except for around villagers houses. For example, I put a yellow rose and place a red pansy next to it or whatever, you get the point. But the villagers are determined to plant flowers of the same type right next to each other. I caught Mac in the act of planting a red cosmos where I had yellow and white cosmos. The residents think they are helping but they are just making things worse!

If they are going to plant some flowers, at least plant flowers I don't have to spend 1,000 bells to get.


Yeah, another random thread. I wouldn't be me if I didn't make them. At least I keep them on topic, amiright? I really should start using my blog for these random thoughts.

LOL I'm with you - though they mean well, it drives me mad! I wish it didn't increase with the Beautiful Town ordinance as I have to keep that in effect. Digging up the flowers they've planted everywhere becomes a part of my daily routine. I'm sorry, neighbours ;-;

I find it cute that they try to help, but yeah it does mess up my designs. Thankfully I'm able to keep up with their shenanigans...most of the time

I had the bell boom ordnance before, and my villagers were still planting flowers everywhere, just not as often. But now I have the beautiful town ordinance. All it took was ONE villager of mine to plant a flower, and now everyone is doing it too in the exact same area. The south side of my town is now a breeding ground for yellow roses

I agree, I sell all of the villager flowers because I make colorful patterns with my flowers and random ones just make it look weird. I really wish they would plant weeds instead. I will forever never have that badge because of beautiful ordinance.

I think it's a cute thing they do but it really frustrates me too, because if I ignore and don't move a random flower that pops up, in a week I'll have a whole field that my villagers planted next to it. I think the game does that to SHOW people about the flower hybrids if they don't know about it already, but it gets really annoying.

I agree that it gets annoying, but it's kinda nice when they plant a flower that I need more of somewhere else. Like I need a few more sun cosmos to finish an arrangement so it's kinda nice to find an extra one laying around. I just have to make digging up flowers part of my daily routine!

It only makes me happy when they've planted flowers I want. Unfortunately that doesn't happen often. So I dig up a lot of flowers per week.

Woke up today to some dandelions and 3 white pansies planted where I didn't want them. I have more white pansies in Ossipri than any other flower. And the gardening shop was selling some pansies today too.


The game itself sometimes plants random flowers too, right?

I always start the game with removing the flowers which the villagers planted. They are always the wrong colour (most yellow).

Yes, I'm pretty sure the game can spawn some every day.

It's cute how they randomly plant flowers, but they always seem to do so when I'm working on landscaping and moving flowers around to begin with.
I just wish they dropped hybrids sometimes or something, that would be swell.

They tend to always plant flowers I don't like though, like yellow violets or red roses or something x-x
