Day 6/Pride in Nooklings store

So today I went straight to the store.

I'm super excited and the tarp is huge. Can't wait to get the golden shovel and the axe. I'm going to count how many fertilizer and saplings I buy so I know how many I am away from it. I can feel the pre-tears in my eyes, I literally thought Gracie was dead for a while, or my game was glitched and wasn't going to show up. I'm so happy.
I went to Shrunk today, he told me a wonderful story I didn't listen to. I kinda just A and B'd through it.

I never read the stories Shrunk tells, I used to listen in City Folk, but it just seems like a waste of time now. All I'm there for is to give him one of my native fruit, get the emotion and leave. Also I got pride, which actually makes a little sense in this case.

I also visited Katrina since she was in my town. She said something about ship and I think maybe she was talking about Kapp'n and his family. And she said this.

....Andd after that, I realized I have a dirty mind. Actually last time I visted Katrina, she said my lucky item was a "dress" and basically when I tried to get bees and stuff, I wouldn't ever get a beehive. I didn't realize that I was actually wearing a dress because I usually have a wet suit on when I want to go diving. So when I shook every tree, I didn't get a chance to get catch any bees and when I finally realized my mistake I didn't have any other trees to shake.

I really like my house on the outside at the moment, though the fence and mailbox are kinda off. I need to change that. I'm only going to show you one room. But I will show you the rest tomorrow. I'm going to show you the front room. (I also have a back room and a basement and a secondary room upstairs.)

It is pretty messy, I won't lie. I will move my trophies and things to a separate room later. I'm trying to get the ABD from the mailing place but so far I'm only half way there. And thats also why I haven't paid of my place, but once I get it I'll pay it off quickly!

I can't wait to hear what you think of the expanded store. I'm a bit behind you, so I'll be living vicariously through you on that.

I like the look of that emotion. I don't really listen to Shrunk's stories, either. Poor guy, can't catch a break, even in his own club. I'm afraid I don't pay enough attention to what Katrina tells me, either. I should probably work on that.

I like your house exterior, too. Love the blue pansies across the front.

Your room is cute. It's tough to get the savings rewards while you're trying to pay off Nook, isn't it? I was just too anxious to get my rooms built, but maybe I should focus on my bank account, too. I like the flooring you have. Sometimes the wood plank ones are prettier than the carpets, IMO.

Looking forward to seeing the other rooms!
