Happy Fishing Tourney, everyone! I hope the fish are biting.
I'm wearing my Fish Tee today in honor of the occasion.

And, here you can see that FANG is coming and he picked a most fabulous spot for his house.
He chose a spot in the open field beside Re-Tail where I breed my hybrids and dodged every flower and weed that was there. I'm very excited to have him in my town, he's awfully cute. Another special thanks to my wolf supplier!
Also in the spirit of Fishing Tourney day, here are a few helpful tips from my villagers.

Astute observation.

Becky went on to add that if you start SMELLING like a fish, you've gone too far.

Obviously from a Fishing Tourney a long time ago, but this is always appropriate.
My cats--Felicity, Mitzi, and Lolly--didn't have much advice to give, but said that they were glad there weren't any big fish to catch since they "don't like swimming much."
Horse Mackerel is the fish for the day, and so far I've only found one. I'm going to try my hardest to keep track of the ones in my pockets, and take notes on each one in order to remember what sizes they all are. That way, I can submit all of them in order, each fish getting first place over the other. This should theoretically get me lots of prizes, but I'm really just hoping for a Crab Clock this time. It would be a perfect fit in my Caucus Race room.
In other news, Nook was selling a Pink Mailbox today which I bought since it would match my other Fairy Tale pieces much better than the Sweets Mailbox. Still haven't worked on my interior any more to match my theme, but I've been busy with other things. I'll probably start on that after I finish up the tour of Shyloh's house.
Speaking of that, I don't think I want to feature any today. Don't want to take up the time you could be using to catch them fish, now do I?
Really though, I want to get started on fishing and there are a few adjustments I want to try out on the weight room downstairs. I'll show that off tomorrow. Have fun in your towns today, everybody!
UPDATE: I managed to collect 25 horse mackerels and sort them all out according to size. Turns out the current high score was Becky's 18.4-incher, bigger than every. single. fish that I had. *grr*
Guess I should have taken a tester to Chip before I started so I could know what fish to keep. Doesn't look like I'm going to catch much of anything bigger than 18.4 inches, so there goes any hopes I had of getting a lot of prizes. Ah well. I'll do my best and shoot for a better turnout next time.
