Classic Easter Egg
After a lovely rain yesterday, I had no flowers to water and gyroids were aplenty. Nothing too interesting to note. Just your typical day here in Storrs.

I have a bonfire in the southern part of town, and I've been trying to collect some special stumps around it to sit on. So far, I have all but one. So I'm continuously growing and chopping a tree in the last spot until one falls down to reveal a special pattern.

The tree there was fully grown today so I got to chop it down. Alas, it was just a normal stump so I planted another Durian and I'll have to hope for next time.

I finished my daily rounds, went shopping and got a few new things for my catalog, then dropped by Nook's to see how I did with my theme challenge. Aaand Lyle said I busted his chops. Bad. I failed to consider my exterior, which is like the whole point of the theme challenges. Oops. :P Guess I'm going to have to start collecting Fairy Tale themed exterior elements, two of which were on display today. So I purchased a Sweets Roof and a Sweets Mailbox. The Sweets stuff is usually pretty rare, I think, so I may try to complete it or purchase some other Fairy Tale themed exteriors as they come. I dunno yet. Either way, it's only going to be temporary as I intend to revert to my preferred exteriors once I get all the good prizes. My score did drop about 50,000 though so it may be a while. x)

The Concrete Exterior was also for sale today, so I bought that with Shyloh and that should be the last of the concrete items for her house. Now I can purchase one last expansion for her basement and order a few last items for the locker and weight rooms and her house should (hopefully) be finished tomorrow!

Now for my coffee notes. Lolly came back in today and I remembered that she preferred Mocha beans from yesterday. I guessed lots of milk this time and two spoonfuls of sugar. She said it was a little off again, so I'll have to take another shot at her.
Frita came in next, and I have no idea where she came from. I have never seen her anywhere before, but okay. She requested Mocha beans and asked that I hold the milk. I guessed two spoonfuls of sugar, and she said it was a little too sweet. Hopefully she never comes back, but I'll try to remember all of this just in case she does.
Isabelle was the business customer of the day and she requested a lot of milk. I guessed Mocha beans for her this time and three spoonfuls of sugar. She said everything was just right except for the bean type.
For my less considerable efforts today, Brewster gave me some good coffee beans.
Phineas was also sitting at the bar, but he didn't mention anything about having or not having any badges for me. I wonder if I wait long enough he might be out and about in town, but I doubt it.

I'm pretty sure I heard that for a villager's coffee preference, the milk will always match the sugar. (Like the options correspond to each other) Hope it helps!

Hm...interesting proposition. I'll test that out tomorrow!

I love your bonfire section! Would you mind terribly if I tucked the idea away for possible use in my town?

Lyle. What a pain he is! Good luck getting the exterior for your theme.

It is true that milk and sugar amounts match, but only for villagers. If one of the NPC come in (Annabelle, K.K. Slider, Resetti, etc.), I don't think it holds true. Might need to do trial and error for them.

I had that idea with the campfire too! If I had my town to do over again, I'd put my campsite a little to the south so I could include something like that along with it. But alas, I can't move the campsite... :(

A little tip: if you talk to whoever is sitting at the cafe, they could give you clues about what they like in their coffee!
