Yesterday after spawning, I quickly placed my tent, then helped Quinn and Bam place theirs. After that, Tom Nook had me collect materials in order to build a campfire, as well as a snack in the form of Peaches. Around the campfire, we named the Island. I chose the name Maui because Maui is my favorite Hawaiian Island. After that, the time in-game synced to the time in the real world, and Tom Nook gave me a Nook Phone and gave me a bill, which I will be paying back in the form of bells.
Just played for a bit! I weeded a little bit of my island, then checked out the tent in the Plaza. I sold some fruit and all of the weeds to Timmy, and then checked out the ABD. Afterward, I got 2 sticks from the Lost-and-Found. Finally, I talked to Tom Nook, and he taught me how to craft a Fishing Rod!
Today I gave Tom Nook 2 more species that live on the island, and he instructed me to place Blathers' tent. After that, I finished weeding the entirety of my island (or at least, the parts of the Island I could access). Lastly, I got stung twice by Wasps and fainted.

So far today I met Blathers, who gave me the DIY recipes for a Flimsy shovel and a Vaulting pole. After speaking with him and dropping off a few specimens, I went to pay off my Tent loan, which I did successfully! I also then signed up to get a house tomorrow. Back into debt I go! After that, I dug up and planted my very first money tree.
Today I finished giving Blathers 15 specimens for his museum, which will open tomorrow. I also started and finished gathering the materials for Timmy & Tommy's shop. Finally, I weeded the entire island (or at least, the parts I could access). I accidentally planted a 1,000 Bell money tree today instead of a 10,000 Bell one, so that kind of sucked.
