"Well," I said, trying to figure out how to start, "Rachel was just a year younger than me. When I was 10, we were outside playing, and all of a sudden, some dark-robed guy took her away. I basically freaked out and followed him. He went into the sewers, and I followed him, eventually reaching the Underworld, where I was too scared to go into. In that same sewer, though, James invited me to join Dark Veil so I could get her back. So I did. About a year later, I went into the Underworld to get her. Hades agreed to let her go, but at one cost: I could never see her again. I agreed, because all I ever wanted her to have was life, even if I couldn't see her anymore. We reunited then for the rest of the day, and then she went away forever…" I sigh.
