Dark Veil (Roleplay)

"Objective #1," the voice said. "Reach the temple as fast as you can. You have 2:00 minutes. Begin." I begin to run across, but as I run, the ground crumbles below me, and soon enough, the field is now a maze of rocky islands.

"Well, this seems easy, couldn't I just levitate everyone across?" I ask.

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

Hearing the commands I follow the others as fat as I can, jumping over broken rubble and cracks in the ground.

I see Raphael running, and the stone crumbling. I nimbly jump from rock to rock, until I reach the halfway point and hear Misa talking about levitating us.

"Wait, I have an idea! Once you levitate across, you could use your magic to make us fly across as well! That will get us all across."

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

Levitating myself over the rocks to the temple in a relatively short time, I turn back to everyone else. I'm not sure if I can bring everyone at once...
I attempt to levitate everyone at once, but I can't support so many, so I bring the others over in pairs, Taylor and Fein first as they were closest to me, with Alex and Raphael landing next to me twenty seconds before the timer runs out.

"Thanks." I tell Misa as I land at the exit of the maze beside her and Raphael.

"Get the others!" I yell to Misa, and start jumping towards the other side, and finally make it.

After the timer runs out, the ground falls and is replaced with a gloomy cliffside setting. The voice appeared again. "Objective #2: Protect the temple from invaders. If the temple is destroyed, you have failed. Begin." I immediately grab my bow and place an arrow to aim, and soon enough, several monsters come and try to attack.

"Okay, so are we all across?" I ask the group. "Is every one ok?"

(We already started the second Trial.)

Invaders, huh? I think, using my staff to instantly freeze the first group of enemies that get close.

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

Taking out my great sword I run at the demons full force, spinning the blade around my body, dismembering them. I see a particularly big lone enemy and put my sword above its head, but instead of brining the blade down, I roll forward keeping the blade above me, cutting around the enemies throat. I flip backward onto the enemies head, slitting its throat all the way round and now standing on the enemies back I bring the sword up from under its neck, pushing me into the air and tacking the head off the enemy.

After Misa freezes the first wave, I use my fire arrow to melt them. More enemies come from either side, so I jump up on the roof to get a better view.

I see Kamikazees. Damn, why didn't I bring any pinecones? I immediately start throwing knives, as well as shooting volleys towards them, protecting the temple with all of my might.

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

"Misa, freeze a line directly under me and into that group over there! Like a slide!" I call out hoping my stupid plan would work.

I continue shooting arrows, and see a stray running towards the temple. I run after it, and shoot it down.

I keep on shooting as many arrows as possible, but the attackers won't back off. I decide to pull out my biggest weapon: the light arrow. I shoot them on all sides, and it works to get the job done quicker.

That seems a little risky, I think to myself. But it should work, if I'm careful...
I freeze a pathway heading directly through the crowd of enemies from Alex for her to slide down, makin it quite wide so she can stay on it.
