Dark Veil (Roleplay)

I laugh at the sight of Cordelia struggling with the axe and take it of her. With one hand I flip it in the air easily and put it back into the holster. "With all these heavy weapons you could probably guess what my talents are, what about you, what do you specialise in?" I ask trying to be friendly.

"Stealth and light weaponry." I said, and showed her my daggers. "My daggers are like an extension of myself."

"That's cool." I say admiring the daggers. "If I used them I would probably end up stabbing myself." I giggle slightly before returning to my usual serious face. "Look... I have to go but..." I look to the floor for a second before looking up smiling slightly. "I really appreciate you taking time to talk to me." I turn away and walk to the brute room, "see you round Cordelia." I say as I walk off. (Ok I have to go for now)

Alex had left, and Cordelia had followed, so I was left alone. I would have followed, but that would have been a little awkward, as I wouldn't have a clue what to say. Instead, I continued to practice levitating, until I was confident that I could reach the roof (which took a long time, because the roof was pretty high up...). I then did go up to the roof, only to see Lily sitting there, alone.
"Oh, um, hi... I-I didn't mean to intrude... Maybe I should just go..."
Whoops, didn't realise anyone would be up here...

(Sorry I didn't post for a while, i didn't have much time between being used as a climbing frame and being forced to play hide and seek :p)

I slash a dummy through the stomach area. Then I cut both arms off, and use my knife on it's head. It's beaten up badly, but that's how I liked it. "Fix it. You can do it, Cindra."

"I'll try." I frown, and step up to the dummy.
I touch it's forehead, and close my eyes. I can do this.
I gently push some of my energy through my fingers, and when I open my eyes, it is good as new.

(OK, I'll improvise as best I can :D)

I wake up on the couch in the lobby. How long was I asleep? I send a voicemail to everybody on the team. "Hey, this is Raphael. Please come to the lobby for your next assignment." I sit, waiting for everybody.

I hear my phone buzz, and check it quickly. A voicemail was left, and it's Raphael, telling us to go to the lobby. I take the elevator, and see Raphael. I walk towards him, and say, "You rang?"

Guess I'd better go back down... I think to myself, upon hearing Raphael over voicemail, calling us for an assignment. I descended from the roof, and headed into the lobby.

I blush slightly, but then my phone rings. I answer, and it is a voicemail from Raphael.
"It's for our next assignment." I say. "He wants us to go to the lobby."

I just stared at her quietly until she leaves. I wait a moment before coming down as well. My bad mood isn't helping anyone at all right now. I see the group already gathered around Raphael.

I sit down at the couches, waiting for Cindra or Cordelia. I hope Cindra isn't still mad at me...

I begin. "This is your first field assignment. That means we're getting real up-close and personal. There are 3 basic ghost types you need to know before you do any stunts:

Footsoldiers: These are the weakest of the bunch. Their strategy: charge. This would be very difficult if it weren't for the fact that they're horribly armed, and have absolutely no armor. This makes it very easy to do away with them.

Kamikazee: They look like small bombs with mouths, and they will consume everything in their path. The more they consume, the closer they are to exploding utterly. When they do, they destroy everything within 10 feet away from them. So try extra hard to target them.

Parasites: These are the monsters invading Lily's and Cindra's minds the other day. Once they find an entrance to your mind, they will target your worst fears and give you horrible nightmares for days until they destroy you and your body is theirs.

So, now that you know this, I have a bus to get us to our location. Once we get there, I'll tell you what exactly we're doing."

(AFK to walk my dog, and I'll have to do my homework as well. I'll get on ASAP.)

I grab Taylor's wrist without thinking. "Come on! We are going to be late." I drag him to the lobby and arrive just in time for the assignment. I hear the last few sentences, and the darkness in my mind rears up. I wince. So It's a parasite? There is no way it is going to get me.

I see Cindra walking into the lobby, and run over to say hi. "Hello, Cindra... Look, I'm sorry about what happened yesterday. Anyways, we should get to our first assignment. Come on!" I say, forcing as much enthusiasm as I can into my words.
