"I just don't want you to hurt yourself." I said before realising that saying that would most likely make her even more uncomfortable. uh, I can be so stupid at times.
 
Uh, what do I say to that?
"Um, thanks, I guess...?"

oh well looks like I have ruined all my chances being friends with these two I shake my head red with embarrassment, "NO I DIDINT MEAN IT LIKE THAT." I panic. "I just meant like for when we are doing assignments I didn't... Want..." Screw this I turned and headed off back to the brute room, "I am just going... To go now..." Great, I can smash open skulls on the battlefield, but are defeated by girls.
 
I heard one of the girls calling me back, I stopped and turned to face her, I was not in the mood and you could tell this from my face, eyes narrowing "What?"

My face softened. Was this a trick or did they really want me here? I looked in the direction of the brute room for a second then shook my head this is so stupid I chuckled slightly turning back to the girls "I'm sorry you don't want someone like me here ruining your fun. I would rather be alone." I smiled at the girls softly before leaving and headed back to the brute room.
 
I watched Alex leave. I really wanted to bond with her... should I follow her? "See you later, Misa." I said, and followed Alex to the brute room.
 
I bit my lip awkwardly. "W-well, since we're all going to be fighting together, I thought it'd be good if we all bonded..."

I really hoped I didn't make anything harder than it had to be.

Was she serious? No one ever spoke to me like this before, maybe she was just toying with me. "Believe me, you don't want to bond with me, I am your friendly neighbourhood psychopath."
 
"Um...." I didn't know how to respond to that.

"Well, I don't think I introduced my self properly." I held out a hand for her to shake. "You probably already know this, but I'm Cordelia. It's nice to meet you."

"There axes." I say looking at the floor. Maybe I was wrong, maybe she was serious about trying to get to know me. "But thanks for trying." I giggle slightly.
 
I smiled in embarrassment, then crouched to get a better look of the axes. "I could never lift these."
 
I smile and attempt to hold it -- I was right, it was heavy. I manged to hold it with both hands. "It is heavy!" I giggled.
