Dark Veil (Roleplay)

"No..." I mumbled.
I noticed that everybody was starting to get ready. I picked up my backpack off of the floor.

I shuffled behind Raphael in anticipation. I could get new daggers! My current ones are quite rusted and worn out, after all...

I walked a little quicker, trying to get a first glimpse of the weapons as Raphael leads us to the weapon room.

I walked at the back of the line, my head held low. I felt so stupid! I was so shy, how was I ever going to help?

"Its ok. Everybody gets a little nervous sometimes. Come on, it'll be fun!" I stand, and walk towards Raphael.

We finally reached the weapon room. It had a concrete floor and a brick wall with torches hanging from it. There were wooden boxes of crisply sharpened knives, arrows, and swords. It even included staves and wands for the mages. "Take your pick," I said, "and when you're done, sit at this table to hear your first assignment."

How can Fein be so positive and confident...? I wonder, as I trudge behind the line.

I grabbed a one handed sword, as well as a shield. The sword wasn't to my liking, but the shield was. Then, I grabbed a knife and shoved it in my belt, should I have really close combat.

I walked up to Raphael. "Um...sir...what do healers get?" I could feel my face getting red in his stern gaze.

I run towards the weapon room, hoping to get my pick of the litter. I pick up a bow and a quiver of arrows, as well as a few daggers and throwing knives. Not typical Aura weapons, but I do well with them. I then sit at the table, waiting for the first assignment. I pick a spot where someone could sit next to me, so Cindra won't feel left out.

I gasp happily, and promptly run to the aisle of daggers. I spot a perfect duo; encrusted with light silver swirls. I giddily sit upon the wooden bench, after taking some throwing stars.

"Ah, yes I forgot," I replied. "Follow me," I say, leading her to the healer's sanctuary, a similar room with ivy growing on the walls, but had several charms and herbs for use by healers.

We walked into the weapons room, Which was filled with a huge array of different weapons and shields. I soon spotted a dark blue staff, the exact same colour as my hair and designed for a Mage. It was perfect. I grabbed it straight away, and started examining it.

I followed him into the healer room. "Wow!" I exclaimed. "May I take some?"
