As time passes, I return to the hotel. 7pm. What is everything doing now? I saw them gathered around the pool, doing their business. I don't feel like doing --well-- anything right now. I just quietly stared at my ring, and I dreamed of the world I used to have.indtead of coming down to them.

 

[Beary]

I giggle slightly at Taylor's wet sopping form.

 

[FireNinja1]

I notice someone looking at me. "Hey, what are you looking at?"

 

[Beary]

I flush red. "Nothing."

 

[FireNinja1]

"You're blushing. Is everything okay?"

 

[Beary]

That just makes me blush harder. "I'm fine." I say, and sit down on a bench.

 

[FireNinja1]

I was starting to think she had a crush on me. "You sure?"

 

[Beary]

"Why would I not be?" I ask, and take out my herb book.

 

[FireNinja1]

Well... "I know this is kind of weird, and I don't think I even know your name...but are you crushing on me? You're excessively blushing."

 

[Beary]

I glare at him. "No! I was just embarrassed..."
"And it's Cindra." I add.

 

[FireNinja1]

"Uh...okay..." Well, this is kind of awkward.

 

[Beary]

"I don't see why Raphael calls you that. You seem nice to me." I smile slightly.

 

[FireNinja1]

"Eh, well, that's just how us guys are. We take insults, swallow them, then spit them back out. And the cycle just continues." I give a small smile.

I slowly begin to wake up after dozing off in the hot tub. By this time, it's sunset, and the torches around the pool area are lit. I see Steve and Cindra talking by the edge of the pool. I pretend not to notice, but peek every once and a while.

[Beary]

I put my book away, and sigh.
"I never really tried to fight back when someone hurt me..." Then I realize what I said and I gasp.

I lean closer. Now this is getting interesting. I sneak out through the bushes and back to the Brute room to change. However, I go down to the lobby and peer out the window to see what's going on.

"Was that my fault...?"

 

[Beary]

"No. It...happened a long time ago." I start to tremble.

"Ah..." I just kind of sat there, silent.
