[Beary]

I sit on the rock, drying off with a towel.

 

[cannedcommunism]

I float back on the water, resting there. Eventually, I decide to dry off. Seeing that it was getting kinda late, I put some warm clothes on and set up a campfire.

 

[Jawile]

"Hey, thanks for starting the fire." I say to Raphael, and I get out. I sit next to Caylin on the rock. I hug her.

 

[cannedcommunism]

After setting up the fire, I get a bag of marshmallows, crackers, and chocolate bars for s'mores. I grab a couple sticks I could find and set them up as well, and rolled a few logs around the fire for us to sit on.

 

[Beary]

I smile to myself, and decide that drying off would be easier around a fire, so I sit on a log.

I sit on a log, and break off coughing as the smoke blows in my direction.

 

[cannedcommunism]

"You okay?" I ask, seeing that smoke was getting in Cindra's face, so I fan it away.

 

[Jawile]

I sit next to her around the fire, smiling at her.

 

[Beary]

I smile back, and turn to the boy I talked to in the garden. "Can we roast marshmallows?"

I cough a bit more, and nod to Raphael. "I'm fine." I whisper, catching my breath again.

 

[cannedcommunism]

"Oh, sure," I say. "Just grab a stick and just go from there."

 

[Beary]

I take a stick, and put a marshmallow on the end. Not sure how to begin, I poke it into the roaring flames, then almost drop it in surprise. "It's on fire! Do. I blow it out?" I say, trying to wave it about in the air to extinguish it.

I almost burst out laughing at Caylin's antics, but the brings a new bout of coughing.

 

[Jawile]

"Yeah!" I say, blowing it out for her. The marshmallow is perfectly black.

 

[Beary]

"Do I...eat it?" I say, grimacing at the black lump on the end of my stick.

I'm not sure why I am coughing so much. I'm not coughing from the smoke anymore, but each time I try to say something I burst out in another fit of it.

 

[Jawile]

"Try it." I grin, nudging her. I clutch my head as another headache starts.

 

[Beary]

"Okay, I'll trust you." I pop it in my mouth, and break into a wide smile after swallowing. "It's fantastic!"

I nod, taking my towel and putting it over my nose so I don't inhale any more smoke.

 

[Jawile]

"Told you." I smile wearily. "I plan on telling Chiyoko my feelings for her tonight in front of the waterfall. Do you know what I should do?" I whisper to Cindra.

 

[Beary]

I pretend not to hear the whispers between Aions and Cindra, but I put on my hoodie and put up my hood.

"Um, maybe say she's beautiful? I'm not sure..I'm horrid at this stuff." I giggle, but trigger another bout if coughing that shakes my entire body.

 

[Jawile]

"Thank you." I say, roasting my own marshmallow.

 

[Beary]

I continue to sit quietly, trying to ignore the nagging in my heart.

After finishing coughing into my towel, I croak, "I think I may have caught something. This coughing won't stop, and it hurts!"

Everyone else seems to have picked up a stick for toasting marshmallows before I can point out that we brought skewers, so I just grab a stick too, and sit on a log near Aions. My marshmallow keeps falling off the stick before it even reaches the flame. "Aww, my marshmallow won't stay on..."
