I shoot an arrow towards them, and roll behind a bush for cover. I signal to the others to do the same, so we can figure something out.
(GTG eat dinner)
I jump through the bush in a perfect combat roll. "Alright!" I say until I turn to see Alex barrel through the bush.
"Ah, look out!" I land directly on top of James and cringe. Rolling off immediately.
"We need a plan, and quickly. Alex and James, you two distract them. Run out there, and James can protect you. Aions and I will attack when they aren't looking." I say rapidly.
"Right!" I say and peek over the bushes. I see a large group of enemies. "Lets go!" I jump over the bush and Alex follows. "Over here!!!" I call and start to run. Alex follows behind.
The guards look confused when they see me and James run past like idiots. They start firing their weapons at us. Ducking under bullets I scream towards the others. "Take them out before- UGH" I feel a bullet go through my chest. I fall in what seems like slow motion. "...No..." I let out as I hit the floor.
I feel blood pour from my wound and I can hardly move. "...I will be... Fine..." I say coughing up a little blood. "Alex!" I turn immediately and run to her, using magic to push enemies away. "You sons of *****s!"
I pick off the rest using my arrows and knives, and run to help Alex. I remember the bag of herbs I picked up from the old Aura room, and give them to James. "Do you know how to use these?"
"Not really." I say but try any way. I place the herbs against her wounds roughly due to panic.
"Agh... Moron..." I mutter, starting to lose consciousness.
I knock a guy down with the blunt end of the axe, and chop his head off with the other end.
"It's like a portable guillotine!" I laugh, and go off to kill the next.
"Y-Yes!" I say back and try to combine the herbs with my magic.
I start to feel a little better, but still completely drained. "...I...I'm sorry..." I felt ashamed, "I let the team...down." I pass out. "D-don't be sorry! Hey, wake up!" I put an ear down where her heart is to check her pulse. She is still breathing. "Guys, hold them off, I will get her into cover."
There's only a few left. I decapitate one, and rush to the other for another slash. I hear a loud bang, and then there's a burning pain in my hand. I drop my axe. "AUGH!" I yell. "They hit me!" I pick up my axe with the other hand, hoping I can do as well with my non-dominant hand, and I run to the next guy.
