DANDELIONS!!!

I'm obsessed with them! I love dandelions in real life, so I want a gazillion in my town. A few things:

- Is it true (proven) that they actually disappear/die after they reach "puff" phase?
- Is it true that watering will not prevent this?
- Is it true that if I blow the puff out more will grow?
- Do people ever sell them and how much do they go for?

I've seen some of these pseudomyths around but was wondering if anyone has tested them

yeah they disappear after a while and watering will not prevent it. i think they can live during the winter, but don't quote me on this... i just noticed that my dandelions lived for a lot longer when snow was on the ground than when it wasnt.

i don't think it's true that more grows if you blow the puff out, but i haven't checked it.

they don't give a lot of money, i wouldn't sell them if i wnated to get rid of them.

I have heard someone claim that for several weeks of testing they consistently found three times out of four a new dandelion would grow in the same spot they puffed out an old one, but I have no way of knowing it is true.

Dandelions can appear in winter, but it's not as common. You'll see them more often when spring arrives in a couple of weeks.

Yep they do dissapear after a while, i think you're limited to only one in your town.

You could hoard a bunch of yellow dandelions and then do it. Maybe go to the dream suite while you still can so you'll have a moment in time when you had a big dandelion field.
